The newly formed London North West Integrated Sexual and Reproductive Health Service is looking for three enthusiastic, motivated Band 6 cash nurses to work in Brent, Ealing and Harrow.

The Trust recently won the contracts to provide the majority of sexual health services across the boroughs of Ealing, Brent, Harrow and Hillingdon. The successful candidate will be joining an experienced team of nurses, and will be based in Brent. The post-holder will work alongside the Consultants and Lead Administrators. The London North West Integrated Sexual and Reproductive Health Services is a tiered hub and spoke model, which involves a multidisciplinary team approach across Central Middlesex Hospital and the community in Ealing, Brent, Harrow and Hillingdon, and will support over 75,000 sexual and reproductive health attendances every year. The service supports triage of patients to assist them in accessing the correct level of care as appropriate; a sizeable proportion of the service will be nurse delivered, referring, where appropriate, to consultant led specialist provision.

We are looking for:

  • Band 6 Nurse (1 WTE) Brent
  • Band 6 Nurse (1 WTE) Ealing
  • Band 6 Nurse (1WTE) Harrow

We are looking for individuals who are committed to providing an excellent service to our clients and maintaining our philosophy of open access to all. It is essential that applicants to the nursing post have a recognised qualification and experience in the provision of contraception and qualification/experience in sexual health (GU) care. In addition, we would expect applicants for the post to be experienced at working to PGD’s.

Please contact us if you are not sure if you meet the criteria. The Trust was recently awarded university status and successful applicants will be actively supported to develop additional skills in the field of sexual health. Internal and external training will be provided.

Successful applicants should have excellent communication skills, be able to work as part of team and be flexible to meet the needs of the post.
