Fixed Term Contract Maternity Cover

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Children and Young Person’s Diabetes Team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust.

We are looking for dynamic and innovative paediatric diabetes specialist nurse to join our friendly team to provide nursing care and support to children and young people with diabetes and their families in North West London.

The role involves providing consistent care to the patients & families on our caseload from admission at diagnosis, through clinic appointments, any subsequent admissions, to transition though a planned process to the young adults’ clinic. This will include community visits to homes and schools, structured education sessions and support for multidisciplinary clinics.

You must be prepared to work both in the community and in the acute setting.
