London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust welcomes applications from people who wish to work part time or flexibly.
Applications are invited for two Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon vacancies with specialist interest in lower limbs (hips and knees), one position at Ealing/Central Middlesex and the other at Northwick Park / Central Middlesex Hospitals.
Each post is central to delivering effective patient care at the London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust by providing a full emergency and elective service for orthopaedic patients.
These placements are part of the future shaping of the Orthopaedics Department and the continued development of a well-established, cohesive and forward thinking orthopaedic service.
Appointees shall join 20 full and part-time Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons and 3 Associate Specialists responsible for the provision of elective and emergency services across the Trust. Flexibility and good team working skills are essential.
The successful applicants shall be expected to contribute to the core orthopaedic workload and participate in the on-call (including week-ends). NPH on-call rota is 1:8 and Ealing is 1:5.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
The postholder will have regular contact with vulnerable people and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
