We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team (12 months) as a Physician Associate. Ears, Nose and Throat Surgery at Northwick Park is a busy and diverse service treating a wide range of disorders from head and neck cancers, facial trauma, airway emergencies, infections, epistaxis, hearing loss, foreign bodies and more! We treat all ages from paediatrics to adults.
The Physician Associate would be responsible for acting as a consistent member of the team on daily ward rounds and providing rapid access to ENT care by running the Urgent Referral Clinic. Duties include, but not limited to, initial patient assessment, interpretation of radiological and laboratory tests, and formulation of diagnosis and treatment plans. You will learn technical skills in microsuction, flexible nasoendoscopy, nasal packing, and even assisting in theatre if desired!
You will receive significant support by a consultant to develop in your role, working alongside a committed team of doctors and nurses, working collaboratively with other members of the practice team within the policies and clinical guidelines.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
