Clinical Director for Emergency Medicine
LNWH are currently recruiting new positions within Emergency Medicine in response to increasing demand and service redesign. This is an exciting time to join the team at London North West Healthcare and be a part of our journey to delivering excellence in Emergency Care for North West London.
We are seeking a dynamic individual to lead the Emergency Medicine Service across both our sites, joining a current team of 18WTE consultants, with two further posts also being advertised to expand the service. The post holder will take a pivotal role in helping shape our Emergency Services as part of the North West London STP and will also formally deputise for the Divisional Clinical Director.
London North West Healthcare NHS Trust operates Emergency Departments at two of its sites, Northwick Park Hospital in Harrow and Ealing Hospital. Northwick Park Hospital is one of 8 Hyper Acute Stroke Units in London, and offers state of the art facilities in a newly built unit, opening in 2015 which is one of the largest departmental footprints in the UK. The department sees approximately 110,000 Type 1 attendances per annum and has a co-located urgent care centre seeing a similar volume of type 3 patients. Ealing Hospital is a smaller District General Hospital which sees approximately 55,000 patients per annum. Both departments are designated Trauma Units which feed into the NWL Trauma network and have excellent TARN figures within the sector.
