Being one of Britain’s largest integrated NHS Trust means we’ve no shortage of options for a long and varied nursing career. But whilst we’ve 9,000 colleagues to learn from and link with, we’re looking for ambitious qualified & student nurses who are ready to grab every opportunity with both hands. We’re a big, busy Trust with huge scope to grow your nursing expertise and experience – and it’ll be up to you to realise that potential, show your passion and make a difference as part of a talented team that’s wholehearted, not fainthearted.

So, what makes us different? Why here? Well, there is one reason. A 1m-population-9000-colleague-multi-site-and-service reason, in fact.

Our size. We are a behemoth of healthcare. As part of one big, passionate team, you’ll find it all. More room to grow your skills and career. A larger stage to put your ideas into practice. Extra people to learn from. And greater scope to improve more lives.

So, the real question is: Why limit yourself elsewhere?

Put simply, you’ll find real heart here. Not just the fuzzy-feeling kind of heart that goes with the healthcare territory. We’re talking a real pulse quickening love for what you do – the kind that gets your blood pumping and your chest bursting with pride.

London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust (LNWH) has 5 divisions spanning 4 hospital sites: Central Middlesex Hospital, Ealing Hospital, Northwick Park Hospital and St Marks Hospital along with Community Services.

  1. Emergency and Ambulatory Care
  2. Integrated Clinical Services
  3. Integrated Medicine
  4. Surgery
  5. Women’s and Children’s Services
  6. Winter Wards

We’re looking to recruit student nurses who are in their final year of studies; once qualified will be offered a permanent role in your area of interest or specialism, or placed on one of our exciting nurse rotation programmes, such as this one in Emergency and Acute Medicine

If you’re already a qualified nurse, we have plenty to offer you here at LNWH. We want you to be the best so we can give the best care to our community. It’s really that simple.

That’s why our education centre provides amazing training for everyone – not just our staff, but for lots of different people from all over the country. There are multi-professional courses where you’ll get to mix with a rich group of specialists, or courses just for your staff group. Nursing doesn’t stop moving, so why should you?

Here at LNWH, you’ll also have the option of joining our staff bank for additional shifts with flexible hours and a choice of locations that work around your lifestyle.

With us, you’ll enjoy the scope to realise your potential and have every opportunity to hone your nursing skills, if you’ve the drive to take them. A calm approach and communication skills will be key too, as you quickly build trust in person, as well as through faultless formal documentation. From admission to discharge, patients will see that this is more than a nursing job for you. It’s a calling – one that we’ll support you to excel at.

We have one big team. And countless possibilities. That’s why we’re looking for nursing staff who are as inspired by change, ambitious and determined to succeed as we are.

We offer on-site accommodation at competitive rates at our Northwick and Ealing sites and season ticket loans as well as staff car parks.
