London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust is looking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic ophthalmology consultant with a specialist interest in glaucoma.
The post holder will complement the existing team of 7 Consultants who have a philosophy of team working and innovation and who are constantly seeking to provide a first class service in a caring and patient oriented environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and collaborative individual to join our other glaucoma consultant in the process of developing and expanding virtual and optometrist-led arms of the glaucoma service. There will be also be the opportunity for clinical research in our established eye research unit.
This full time substantive post consists of ten programmed activities and is based at Central Middlesex Hospital. The post is supported by a full complement of nursing, paramedical and junior medical staff and all sub specialties are represented. The busy department has well-established links to the Western Eye Hospital in terms of joint posts, rotational trainees, on-call provision and post-graduate training.
