Surgical Teaching fellows
1st post commencing April 2018 and 2nd post October 2018 for one year, possibly renewable. The posts are equivalent to a Specialist Registrar Level 1 or ST3-4 Level. Candidates holding the (MRCS 1/MRCS 2) or in the case of overseas applicants, an equivalent qualification are invited to apply for the posts. This job is ideal for candidates who have completed their basic surgical training and are awaiting a higher surgical training number, or want OOPE experience whilst pursuing a higher research degree (MD or PhD)
Candidates will commit 75% of their time to undergraduate teaching and the remainder in Research & Audit. Opportunities for Medical Education training and postgraduate qualifications. The post holders will form part of an active and vibrant faculty and will be encouraged to attend and present at meetings and develop on R&D research/audit projects.
