We are looking to recruit a Principal Clinical Psychologist to join our community of Clinical Psychologists working into Stroke and Neurorehabilitation Services at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust.
The post holder will have significant experience of working with people with a wide range of long-term neurological conditions, their families and staff and will have completed or be working towards obtaining the Qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology.
Working across inpatient and community neurorehabilitation services in the London Boroughs of Brent and Ealing, the post holder will hold a caseload of complex clinical work and offer clinical leadership including supervision to the two Band 8a Clinical Psychologists working into these services.
They will work alongside the Consultant Clinical Psychologist in Stroke and Neurorehabilitation Services to identify priorities for service development and lead on the development of clinical neuropsychology services within the above settings. We are looking for a psychologist who is able to engage psychologist colleagues, multidisciplinary teams and service users to create an environment where the psychological needs of patients, families and staff are recognised and supported.
The post holder will receive regular clinical and professional supervision from a Consultant Clinical Psychologist working into Stroke and Neurorehabilitation Services, as well as continuing professional development to develop special interests and expertise in line with service and team objectives.
