We are looking for a proactive and dynamic band 5 Nurse who is committed to personal professional development and has a keen interest in acute cardiology to join our team on the Coronary Care Unit. The successful candidate will need to be committed to providing a high standard of patient care and will work alongside other members of the team to achieve a high standard in the Key Performance Indicators.


This is an 8 bedded specialist unit that also monitors 16 beds from the cardiology ward. We work closely with the cardiology ward and the cardiac catheterisation lab. We carry out angiogram, angioplasty and temporary and permanent pacemakers and care for patient with complex cardiac conditions including patients requiring level 2 care.
