An opportunity has arisen for a Rotational Pharmacy Assistant to join the Pharmacy team at Ealing Hospital. The Pharmacy Department is well established, developed, modern and well resourced, and therefore we are looking for a committed Pharmacy Assistant who will contribute to our ongoing success. You will work as part of a friendly and supportive team of Technical staff and Pharmacists.
Your duties in a rotational basis will include:
• Dispensing prescriptions for both in-patients and out-patients
• Help to provide a receptionist service for patients and hospital staff
• Receiving, storage and supply of medicines from distribution
• General housekeeping duties in specialist Pharmacy
The post will support late duty, weekends and bank holidays. At Ealing Hospital we encourage and support staff development via training programs and appraisals as well as by providing you with opportunities to use your own initiative to promote CPD.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
